Reservation Drug Dealer Pleads Guilty The United States Attorney’s Office announced that during a federal court session in Billings, on May 10, 2012, before Chief U.S. District Judge Richard F. Cebull, KENDRA DALE ARCOREN, age 27, a transient, pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Sentencing has been set for August 6, 2012. She is currently detained. Messengers For Health “Messengers for Health” brings more than information to the Crow Reservation. This unique Native American non-profit was designed to address cancer prevention among tribal women. It evolved from a long-term research grant provided by the American Cancer Society to MSU and the Crow Tribe. Executive Director Alma McCormick currently has a network of over 20 lay-health female advisors who provide outreach and advocacy on a culturally based model. Alma recently contacted First InterstateBank for assistance in expanding the program to include men. Her goal continued page 2 |
